Release Notes
What's new, and what's next
IXL CORE is on version 1.0. Below is what shipped — expand any entry to read it — followed by the Business Solutions on the roadmap.

Shipped and live
Version 1.0Property & Real Estate is live
The first industry solution on the roadmap has shipped. Property & Real Estate turns IXL CORE into a complete property operations platform — for both long-term leasing and short-term rentals — built on the same connected foundation as the rest of the business.
Portfolios & property — Group properties by owner, fund, company or branch, with a full building, floor and unit hierarchy and live availability for every unit.
Leasing — The full lease lifecycle (offer → lease → renewal → expiry → termination), an operational rent roll with charges and arrears, deposit tracking (obligation, receipt, holding and refund), and monthly owner statements — with rent, deposits and charges invoiced through Accounting.
Move-in & move-out — Guided workflows for the start and end of a tenancy: inspections, keys, deposit handling and vacancy.
Short-term rentals — Bookings with a guest portal, cleaning turnover between stays, and two-way iCal sync to keep calendars aligned. A channel manager for Airbnb and Booking.com is sandbox-complete and switches on once the partner approvals land.
Maintenance — Log maintenance and dispatch suppliers, tied back to the unit and the lease.
Owner & tenant portals — Self-service for owners (dashboards, statements and documents) and tenants (payments and maintenance requests).
Listings & compliance — Publish availability to a public property website, and track compliance obligations — certificates, inspections and expiries.
Analytics — Occupancy, vacancy, ADR and RevPAR across the portfolio.
Parties come from CRM, money from Accounting, documents and e-signature from the platform, and maintenance from Operations — one connected system, not a separate app.
Version 1.0The first release
The first release of IXL CORE — the Business Operating System for growing businesses. Here is what is included at launch.
CRM — Leads with one-step convert, accounts and contacts, an opportunity pipeline, and quotes. AI-drafted, e-signable proposals and contracts, marketing campaigns, consent-aware customer messaging, and sales targets with forecasting.
Accounting — A full accrual suite: chart of accounts, journals, and both receivables (invoices, receipts, credit notes) and payables (bills, supplier payments, payment runs). Bank reconciliation, cost centres, budgets, tax codes and packs with eTIMS, exchange rates, fixed assets, revenue recognition, period and year-end close, group consolidation, and trust accounting.
Supply Chain — Suppliers, products with variants and units, and warehouses. Requisitions, RFQs and purchase orders; goods receipt with three-way matching and GRNI, goods issue, landed cost and weighted-average costing; lot and serial tracking with FEFO, barcode scanning, stock adjustments, transfers, takes and returns, and reorder rules.
HR & Payroll — Recruitment from requisition to hire, employee records, job profiles with competencies and KPIs, performance cycles, leave, attendance, timesheets, shifts and rosters, discipline and training. E-signed contracts, and monthly multi-entity payroll with Kenya and South Africa statutory, payslips and EFT.
Operations — Projects with phases and milestones, work orders, a service desk with SLAs, service contracts, and rate-card billing. Work intake and conversion, and field attendance with biometric passkeys.
Marketing — Consent-first audiences (static lists and dynamic segments), compliance pre-flight campaigns over email and SMS, and public lead-capture forms that create CRM leads.
Documents — A governed file store with folders, classification, versioning, internal sharing, tokenised external exchange links, and branded document templates.
Scheduling — Conflict-checked appointments, availability and working hours, and public self-service booking pages.
Chat — Secure, entity-scoped staff messaging with channels, direct messages, mentions and attachments.
AI Assist — AI drafting for proposals and contracts, metered against prepaid credits with hard budget caps and a bring-your-own-key option.
Platform — Multi-company, multi-entity and multi-branch structure, role-based access with fine-grained permissions, shared settings, built-in e-signature, and audit trails throughout.
